Loneliness

And another summer came. Tiglath-Pileser had suddenly died and his son Shalamaneser was now king. And Shalamaneser had gone to war with Hosheah of Samaria - the only Jewish king that was left in northern Isreal. And many from the people of Jehovah had fled to Hama. And Jehovah hold of the city was growing fast. The power of He that had been Ashima's husband for thousands and thousands of years, and whom She had loved of Her whole heart, but whom She now feared more than anything in the world. For now all that He wanted was to hurt Her. And in Her heart She wondered so much why. And Ashima was sad and lonely. And she kept to herself. Living in silence and stillness. Not much joy was left in her heart. Only sorrow and pain.

And Haniel too was in much pain. He too kept to himself. And he decided that she could not stay at the inn anymore. Dido had a life of her own now. A family at last. With Shemhazai her love and Adam her son and soon another child to come. And so he was not needed anymore. He decided that he was to live all on his own now. Alone. And he bought a house for himself outside of the city from a poor old couple. A small little cottage. And he payed them so much that money were never more a worry for them. This was now to be his home.
